Grieving isn't something we're encouraged to talk about. Society would much prefer if we swept it under the rug. It's too messy. Too raw. Too real.
As a result, there are a number of pervasive myths and misconceptions spread about grief. Not only do these myths prevent healing but they also lead people to believe they'll never find closure.
This free course provides information and resources to help grievers identify the myths and the impact they have on their lives.
Michelle has a Master of Education in Counselling and a passion for helping and supporting others in reaching their personal, academic and career goals. She works to remove barriers by providing traditional therapeutic counselling services with alternatives for those where distance, location and therapeutic setting prevent them from accessing the support and resources they desire.
In her own counselling practice, Michelle sees clients with all kinds of needs and has a special passion for working with those experiencing grief, loss and/or trauma. It's her hope to use technology to open up a new level of healing.
When she's not working, Michelle enjoys spending time with her family and friends in Kamloops, BC, Canada.
